I have a Metro PCS LGMS 769 phone running v10e software and Android v4.1.2.
I had previously installed the Chinese VROOT software to root the phone. Also installed TB and Chainfire SuperSU...which I am still unclear about making SuperSU the primary root method.
Due to some quirky behavior (which I will post about in separate thread) I uninstalled VROOT. Today, I installed and ran Kingo. It successfully rooted my phone...confirmed by launching TB.
My current problem is this...Both prior to Kingo install and after...I am unable to uninstall SuperSU. Ultimately what I want to do is make SuperSU my Root tool. Can someone provide me with steps to do this?
Thanks!!
EDIT: Kingo installed successfully. It appears that it installed SuperSU. Root checker verifies, BusyBox v1.22 installed, and TB running. Now I need help installing recovery and moving apps to external SD. I'll research here first...lots of good info!!
