Kingroot is good for routing my device?

Since we don't know what phone you have and what OS version we can't tell you whether there is a better tool, or even whether it will work for you at all.

Personally I would always choose to unlock the bootloader and use a custom recovery, but that's not available for all devices. Conversely these rooting apps don't work at all on most recent devices.

The app-based, one-click "universal/one-size-fits-all" root exploits are generally not secure and may send your data to China or some other place without your knowledge or permission. If this is the only method available to root your device it's probably because legitimate developers have no interest in it.
There is also likely to be no support in the event of a problem so you risk bricking your device with no hope of recovery. Proceed at your own risk, or not at all if you aren't fully prepared to deal with what might happen.
As Hadron stated the far more preferable root method is the traditional type that uses a PC and is written by a developer for the specific device.
