Kingston Class 10 MicroSDHC

Hello, so I have my Nexus One now and I rooted it and have Cyanogenmod 5.0.7.1 on it now. So I want to use Apps2SD and I am planning on getting a faster card since the one in the phone is only a Class 2 and it is a small size. So I was looking at Kingston's Class 10 16GB but I also found a Patriot's Class 6 16GB card for about half of that price.
NCIX.com - Buy Kingston 16GB microSDHC Class 10 Flash Card W/ miniSDHC & Full Size SDHC Secure Digital Adapters - SDC10/16GB-2ADPCR In Canada.
Sorry, Patriot card I had listed was not a MicroSDHC and was simply SDHC.
Decided on Kingston, thanks :P

I'm sure I've seen some tests in another thread that show the N1 bottlenecks around Class 2 speeds anyway so a faster card might be wasted money.

You are only bottlenecked when you are connected to the PC with the USB cable. Internally though, you can get Class 10 speeds. Uh, well, at least Class 6 speeds. Class 10 speeds is what I am not sure about yet.

Is it can work with N1 ?
Will it work? Yes. Will it take advantage of Class 10 speeds? Not sure, I will have it by tomorrow and find out. Over USB cable it won't but internally it should fly. And when using Apps2SD it should as well.

I had that one already but it was a big fail of a tester... it said that I had a much much worse card I really do.. it didn't go over 1MB/s huh?.. lol

a class 6 with under 1MB/s read and write perf.???

Look up SDCard Benchmark on the market.

There is a good one.

I tried using this and it thought I had a Class 6 card so either my N1 is not taking advantage of it, which I doubt or this application doesn't understand Class 10 card as it is not listed on the list when you open this app.

Apparently class 6 is overkill. Check out this link. Sure, you can go class 10 if you want, but why spend the money when it's unnecessary?
