Kitkat email app sync schedule

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me with an issue that's driving me nuts. I have the stock kitkat Email client. Everything about it is great, except that I can't set "quiet times" for sync, ie at night and at weekends I don't want to receive push mail.

My work uses Exchange 2010, so due to it's closed nature K9 Mail, Aquamail and others don't seem to work with it. Disabling mobile data/wifi during those times is not an option. I tried to find an app that could block data for a certain app on a timer but no luck. Greenify would work perfect if it had schedules, but unfortunately doesn't. Don't really want to manually freeze the email app as I'll forget to undo it.

Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat. We need to pull the Email APK from the stock ROM. I just haven't found a reliable source for that APK yet.

Ever figured out a solution for this?
I'd like to use the stock email app as well rather than Samsung email but lack of sync schedule is killing me.

Unfortunately not. I'm hoping Cloudmagic will introduce a schedule at some point as it's a pretty good email app.
