KitKat for the L series except L9..

Surprised that a budget offering does not get the latest software? I'm not. I'm actually surprised the L3/L5 got it.

I am starting to regret I didn't just save up more and buy the Nexus 4 back in February. Could be worse I guess. The entire time I used my Optimus V I only got one minor update I think.

The L9 came out of the factory with ICS on it, which T-Mobile upgraded to Jelly Bean.

Right now, the L9 has the latest software.

Out of every Android phone I've ever owned, only the phones from metroPCS and the L9 on T-Mobile have received any kind of update.

i'm so disappointed of LG
when i bought Prada , i couldn't instal android 4 or higher
now i got L9 , i can't enjoy 4.1.2 above
going back to HTC ...

Give it time, perhaps there will be a KitKat update to it.

I saw the L9 listed on T-Mobile with 4.2 on it. So they're are still upgrade possibilities. But for a mid-level phone any update is appreciated. My son's Nexus 7 got Kit Kat, not sure if it brings that much more to the table.

Yes I am surprised when other budget phones (real ones) got it and this midrange phone didn't.

I think that should be 4.1.2 (not 4.2), but it's still Jelly Bean.
