So I loaded up an ID3 tag editor, and on starting it I get the message:
Android version KitKat has removed the permissions which enable apps to write to external storage SD cards, if you want to edit files on an SD card you will need to move the files onto your device's internal storage!
Well that's not good. I am guessing Google did this for some reason, and being the cynic I am I'm assuming it involves greed and power over devices and software, but I'm not sure right off the top. Seems they really want to limit our freedom with our devices we paid good money for. Anyone care to clue me in as to why Google did that?
