Hey guys,
A few days ago I uploaded a new Shopping List (Kiwi Shopping), it seems the Android users like it so far,
what is your opinion,
a developers point of view?
a users point of view?

KIWI APPS - Android development
This a good start with the UI, easy but at first a little bit to get use to.
1.) The Top Graphics is not obvious that it represents different product groups from which sublist items are selected.
2.) The Controls Screen is not clear, is cramped and should be at least two screens ... the text in red is not clearly readable over the two different backgrounds.
3.) Adding an item is a problem in that after pressing the add button (in portrait mode) you can see the input box, however as soon as your open keyboard the box is not visible so this leaves you typing in the dark.
4.) Also, adding an item it is not at first clear that you must Capitalize the item you add, if you expect it to appear alphabetically in the item choice list.
5.) You can't make and save separate list.
6.) As of yet it is unclear that when and if an update comes out ... will I loose all the items I have added to my lists.
7.) The slide method of adding items is ok... even if it is sometimes a bit laggy
Update ideas ....
1.) Saved multiple Lists.
2.) Alphabetizing the shopping List...
3.) Adding Isle numbering to the item database should be an option...
Beans would become: 5-Beans
Bread would become: 1-Bread
Soup would become: 7-Soup ... etc.
this would allow for sorting items by shopping isle order
4.) Qty number (long press an item already moved to your list and add the quantity).
the list would then look like:
Beans would become: 5-Beans=4
Bread would become: 1-Bread=2
Soup would become: 7-Soup=10 ... etc.
So....
If I know that an update will not destroy my added list items ... then I would start adding items using an isle type as illustrated in item 3 above.
Yes I know that this database would only work for 1 Store... But could we not have mutliple store lists... This App is currently geared toward the grocery list ...
Looking forward to hearing the Dev's ideas and the ideas of others...
