Klink appears to be for USB tethering only. I am not sure how you would connect one to the other. What you'd need for the iPad is a phone to act as a wireless Hotspot.
Just be aware that if you are in the US and are attempting to bypass carrier data plans for tethering, they are becoming increasingly aggressive in determining who is tethering. And, since that is something that would be a violation of your TOS agreement it is something that Android Forums neither condones nor supports.
