Kodi 17.1 Krypton

I upgraded to Kodi 17.1 Krypton on Nexbox a95x recently & it lags a lot. I downgraded back to Kodi 16.1 Jarvis & it runs smoother. What can I do to get Kodi 17.1 to run smoother with on Nexbox. Thanks for your time & input.
 
Could be the particular box you've got just isn't upto running the new Krypton version smoothly. And probably only thing can do is get something with better specs and performance, like faster CPU and more RAM.

I've run Kodi Krypton on Oppo R9 Plus(Snapdragon octocore, 4GB) and MacBook Air(ICore i5, 8GB) and it's fine there.
