Help Laaaaaaaaaging

Since the two most recent updates on my N7, I've noticed a considerable amount of lag at times. This issue is intermittent, but when it happens (including now, starting with the second sentence of this post and gone by the time I finish this parenthetical) it is very frustrating.

I feel like this is something that has happened with every android device I've ever owned. They start off great, but then they receive updates that slow them down considerably. When I purchased the N7 I was very impressed with its snappiness. That snappiness is no more.

My advice would be to search the Nexus 7 threads. This issue, and multiple possible causes and resolutions have been discussed at length.

I would give a factory reset a shot. At least clean out cache.

A lot of people have said that disabling "Currents" background updating has helped a lot. It worked a little for me, but I ended up doing a factory reset. Back to normal.
