Help Lag....and I mean real bad!

Thinking about wiping this whole phone to factory then installing everything again. Will that solve my issue. Cause im at the point of kicking this phone through a field goal post!

It's quite possible, but all depends on what the actual source of the issue is.

What sorts of customizations have you done to the phone? Check your running services and your background apps (these are 2 separate lists).

My phone has lagged since day 1. It's a crappy Samsung product, what do you expect? I swore I would not buy another Samsung phone but then I read all the rave reviews about the Captivate so I thought I'd give them one last chance. I did, and I'm done with Samsung phones. The people who are happy with it have either flashed a custom ROM or do not expect much out of a "smart" phone.
