The Hero is a smartphone as is the iPhone and the 2 get compared reguarly in magazines/youtube/ etc..

Neither myself or the other guy on this thread is trying to bash the Hero down but simply highlight that there are negatives to go with the positives that potential owners may want to be aware of.

Like I said, I think there are work-arounds to the problem by cutting back on what im trying to do with the phone (i.e. everything) but nevertheless these problems dont exist on the iPhone.

And this comes from a neutral standpoint as I have never owned a iPhone and chose a Hero over one last time.

However, if one of the mods is telling me I now own a Punto when i could have had an Aston, then maybe I need to re-think my decision !!!

If your here to talk about the Hero, then the iPhone needen't be mentioned. The only thing causing a stir in the forum is that it is mentioning the iPhone. You specifically stated you think it is so much quicker, you are the one stirring.

This thread has run it's course, and unless it steers back to something vaugley on topic, I will close it. If you have problems with lag, try talking about it in the forum where you downloaded your ROM from.

This thread was started simply to cause a stir. It was started by comparing it to the iPhone and saying it can't do what you need, the iPhone does it so much better and that is all the thread has been since.

If you truley belive that then please, go and get and iPhone. Twisting my words to cause more of a stir is not putting this thread on a helpful or meaningful course.
