lag in typing, typing comes to a screatching slow snail crawl, anyone else reproduce the problem?

OK so the first thing I noticed and loved about my vibrant was the extremely responsive and fast keyboard, well that's all changing.
Can someone else verify the following issue on their phone please. Okay I have my input method set to "Android Keyboard." Which again is fast untill I try using it to reply to people on this website then it forms this slow slow slow lag. If I type a word in fast, the phone is still processing the first few letters. This is sometimes not always.

Okay here is a good test, it also forms a lag in text messaging but only does it when I am sending a mass text message out to the maximum ten receipients. Please see if you can reproduce my problem. Again set the keyboard to android, open the stock messaging program, add up to the maximum ten contacts, then try composing a message. Does your keyboard processing come to a crawl also?

Mine lags not only in the key board but just about everywhere else now as well. I'm not a fast typist with these phones either. This Vibrant is really beginning to feel like my old Moto Cliq XT speed wise.

although i dont have either of your problems, try restarting your phone and clear some cache.

fwiw i also don't run a task killer

restarting doesnt do anything ....its the phone it lags all the time
I am new to Android and frustrated ....I want to love this phone but I am about to pop my sim card back into my iphone 3g at least it didnt lag
