Within the last few weeks my phone has become laggy when ever I press the home button to come out of an app, email etc... It seems to coincide with the last small update recently. Anyone else have any issues?

Within the last few weeks my phone has become laggy when ever I press the home button to come out of an app, email etc... It seems to coincide with the last small update recently. Anyone else have any issues?

The Home button has always taken you from the app to the Home screen. Not quit sure what you are asking. As far as "laggy" long press on the Home button and tap the small pie chart on the bottom left. Not tap Ram at the top and then Clear memory. If this does not help. You may need to wipe the cache partition, do the following:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key, Home key, and Power key at the same time.
3. When the phone vibrates, let go of the buttons.
4. Press the Volume Down key to move to and highlight wipe cache partition.
5. Press the Power key to select and wipe the cache partition.
6. After the wipe is finished, go back up till reboot system now is highlighted and press the Power key to restart the phone.

It could be that S Voice is enabled (and if you turned it off it could have reactivated)

Go to S Voice settings and there should be a setting about launching the app with the home button. Turn that off and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I should chave explained myself a bit better. When pressing the home button, when exiting an app etc.... it can take around 10secs for all my icons to appear back on my home screen.
