Help Lagfix app and does Ace 2 suffer Brickbug

Ok, so I think this might be my first thread asking for support (in a manner of speaking). This is to all Ace 2/Android buffs that have their phone rooted.

I've been thinking about trying out the Lagfix app which performs the fstrim process. However, my main reservation is that some Samsung devices have been known to suffer a big which causes fstrim to brick the device.

Now, obviously I don't want my phone hardbricked as it's still in contract and I cannot afford a replacement. So my question is has anyone successfully installed and used this app without bricking their device? There is actually an app that checks for Brickbug but the Ace 2 is not in their database.

:) let us know the outcome ?!

 The comments from the Galaxy Nexus users are positive.
 The Galaxy S3 users are not so happy doh...

I personally tried some other app called "sEFix" and found it to be useless.

My attention to address the problems on the ace 2 is (memory minfree) settings and finding the best combination...

Lol, I think you need to read my post again. :-P

I'm asking if the device suffers the bug that causes the app to brick the device. As clearly nobody has experience with the app on the ace 2 I'm not gonna try it as I can't afford to brick my phone.

:D lol someone needs to try that than.
And since you are the one so interested on it...
I think you are the perfect candidate for that lol

After you try it we might find out the answer about the "brick bug" availability on the ace 2 lololol

Wait... do you mean, you want someone else to try and brick their phone to let you know ?
Is that the question?

Seriously now,
If you really are interested on that app? Than you really need to contact the developer as a precaution before you try to use it.

Well no, the question was if anybody had installed/run it without bricking their phone. :-P
I'd try it after upgrade if I wasn't in contract but until then I can't risk it.
