Laggggg!

Over a week with my S3...And for the exception of some WiFi and battery woes I've been pretty happy.

However some lag has begun to rear its ugly face. It pretty much just pops up in random spots. Like when typing a message or when just switching screens, etc. I don't have a ton of apps loaded on my phone either, so I doubt it's running apps causing any slowdowns or lag.

Anyone with the US version experiencing this?

Sean are you EVER happy with any of your thousands of phones?
I'm pretty surprised this is coming up so soon. I'd like to hear other opinions too. Is the keyboard lag on the stock keyboard? Have you tried other keyboards?

Lol...yea I was hoping stuff like this wouldn't pop up so soon.

Using the stock keyboard, and yea some lag is starting to pop up. And here and there I'm seeing some hang ups when switching screens, and apps.

I actually remember hearing Arron on PhoneDog say that he was seeing lag pop up on the US versions vs no lag what so ever on the international version.

Absolutely no lag on my S3. S voice off, stupid animations off, not using stock keyboard.

Try rebooting and see if it goes away

Lag is usually a sign that the CPU is working on something else. I have had no lag but do not have much running on my device. Something has to be keeping your CPU busy.

Sean can't help it. Although, he is very aware of his ( phone ) commitment issues.

Any thoughts if it's the processor differences? I assume you're using the VZW model?

I had lag on mine too. I thought it was my 90+ apps. This sucks... but it is android what can you do. Freedom comes at a price.
