Laggy interaction?

SkyFrog

Lurker
just received my zmax pro today. This phone feels really laggy. Even my old og zmax that has less than 100mb space and bogged down like crazy with kids games feels more snappy.

I've hard reset/factory reset and it's the same feeling. Amy one have any ideas? There is no way my original zmax should be performing better than the pro.

Did you take the latest update? Do you have the T-Mobile or MetroPCS version?

I have no lag at all.

After a factory reset, you need to let the apps and cache build back up and settle down before making any judgements.

Also, are you installing any task killers like CleanMaster or any other useless snake oil?

Its clean. After signing into account I left everything stock to test out. Didnt install any extras. I can officially say that my original zmax is snappier and it shouldnt be. i even have my daughters lg l90 and even though there is lag here and there, its more responsive.

I have the metropcs version unlocked on t-mobile. no new update.

mine is laggy because I surf A LOT - with many, many tabs... Various browsers, including 3 versions of Chrome.

So I'm not blaming zte fully, but previous phones from LG & Samsung weren't as laggy-the latter @ 1.5 ram.

No more phones for me with so little dev work (no root) or ram.

Probably because our phone kernels are set to interactive by default instead of on demand. My old ZMAX hated interactive kernel mode.... Then again so did my old tegra n7.
