Laggy scrolling in Chrome browser?

I've found that the stock browser scrolls much more smooth than the Chrome browser on image heavy sites. Is everyone else seeing the same thing? I was under the impression that Chrome was supposed to be quicker and smoother....

Stock browswer scrolls smooth all the way up and down but in Chrome the comments section is very choppy.

I have the VZW edition btw.

I've found that scrolling in general on the chrome app is a lot less responsive. Even with a wall of text, when scrolling up and down it lags behind. I love chrome and it's features but I may go back to the default browser just because this is so annoying!

I was really happy to finally get chrome after upgrading to a ICS device. Unfortunately I have not been impressed with the performance. I also can't seem to find a way to alphabetize the bookmarks.

I have went back to X-Scope as my main browser. They have made some nice updates to it.
