Help Lan settings on Laptop running Android

I want to install android on Acer Apire One D255, but I need settings to configure static IP on my ethernet (lan) to be able to configure some routers with disabled DHCP.
How can I configure static ip on lan on that Acer Aspire One D255?
1.6 GHz N270 intel processor
2GB ram.

Generally you do this through your router (gateway), that's what assigns IP addresses on your LAN. Your Acer isn't going to be doing any routing functions, typically it's taking the IP address given to it whenever you join other LANs. If you do want to use your Acer as a central DHCP/DNS server, you'll be better off running it using Linux or Windows than Android.

Android is better suited for consumer usage, not as a backbone to maintain a local network.

Maybe if you read through a networking basics page like this that will clarify why something like an app wouldn't be able to act as a foundation for your LAN:

A typical router actually does a lot of work, and most of it is very subtle and in the background. At best you can use an Android device to be a hotspot/tether but its configuration features are only basic. It's limited to WiFi (as opposed to common local network consisting of a mix of wired and wireless), and even the range of WiFi coverage and number of devices is restricted.

At the end, there is no way to control ethernet-lan connection over Android OS.
Too bad , the best OS for old computers.
