Just updated my nexus to 4.1.2
How do I enable the landscape? Thanks

Go to Settings then Accessibility.

You can also pull down the notification shade and tap the rotate icon to the right of the date.

If you have a custom Launcher, like Nova, make sure it is enabled there also.

There is no way to do this without a third party app like Ultimate Rotation Control.
