Landscape

Dumb question but here goes. I can't get my N7 to go into landscape. Am I missing something, like brains, our won't it do landscape? A non tech 75 year old.

Swipe down the notification bar (black bar at the top of the screen) and there is a toggle button there to unlock the rotation. I don't have my Nexus 7 with me or I would give a screenshot. The homescreen does not rotate but this will allow other apps to rotate.

if you want your home screen to go landscape, go to play.google.com and search for a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex.
This is the easiest way to do it without rooting.

I installed Rotation Locker from Google Play - works okay most of the time.
