Help lapdock pro 500

Ccan you use the lap dock on wifi or plugged in to Ethernet without having the RAZR hooked up to it? I know it says it will use wi-fi or ethernet cable instead but does that mean it still has to be hooked up to the droid razor while it is using wifi or ethernet cable.

A Weptop lapdock is simply a dumb terminal that uses the resources of the phone, so yes, you must have the Razr connected. Everything it uses is in the Weptop rom of the phone. The only exception is saving files or running media, since when the phone is connected, you can use sd cards or USB drives.

Lapdocks are useless without a Webtop phone.
