Trust yall's opinion more then random thread even though its here.. anyways.. i'm looking for a laptop part.. where is a good place to get one cheap? my fan went out on the laptop.. i already screwed up and ordered one from china or somewhere which will probably take a month to get here.. i was clicking next hoping to see shipping info.. never got it.. got it for 30 but who knows.. i'll update it if i hear about it.. paid with paypal.. it showed the company as a few chinese letters in the invoice.. i'll cancel it if someone knows better.. its for a dv6 2150.. hp.. cheapest i found it elsewhere was 55 i believe.. thanks in advance and apologize for wrong forum..

replacing the fan because of an error? Is is the fan on the bottom? The CPU fan?
I've seen on HPs the bottom intake fan can become clogged, resulting in a fan cooling error, there's a number associated with it, can't remember. Belive it or not, the 'fix' found out by many HP owners was to blow it out with compressed air & the fan would start working again
Now I found a CPU fan for < $23 - on a website called 21marketplace(dot)com/Fan/HP/HP-Pavilion-dv6-2150us.html

Ok.. Well I ordered the one from 21marketplace on the 21st.. Got here march 2ND.. Not bad for half price.. I hate working on lap tops cause you need tiny elf fingers lol.. Took it all apart (fan is on bottom of motherboard) get to the fan and they sent me the wrong f'n one.. tried blowing the old one out.. its been making bad noises so I know it was on its last leg but I didn't want that many extra screws lol last ditch effort.. still dead.. Anyone know of a reliable site? don't want another from a sweat shop
