Help Larger FONT for user interface of gmail

OK,
I have a galaxy note 2 phone AND a new Galaxy Tab 3 thinking that I was going to just have a larger phone so to speak to work on while I was on my phone (note 2)

PROBLEM;
Resolution is great BUT the fonts are all to small. Especially when i am looking at the gmail inbox. The gmail inbox on my phone (note 2) is LARGER than my tab when I set them next to each other.

What good is a larger screen IF it makes the fonts smaller?

YES, I have changed fonts to huge in options but that doesn't affect the font size while looking at gmail email user interface.

Does this make sense or do I need to post some images to illustrate what I am saying. I have searched all over for help, tips, and noone has a fix for this I could find.. So

I am asking you all.. Anyone know a fix?
