Largest battery (mAh) that will fit the standard S III case?

I'm looking for an extended life battery and would prefer if it fits in my S III without a custom back cover.

Does anyone know the largest mAh battery that will fit with the standard case?

As far as I know, only the Samsung 3000mAh battery will still allow SOME cases to fit, usually the softer silicone cases since it doesn't add much to the phone's thickness. Any of the bigger aftermarket batteris are going to make the phone quite a bit thicker.

This one says it will fit with the stock cover and it is 3200mAh. I purchased it but have not received it yet.

Hope it works well for you- I've always read that mAh are pretty directly proportional to size, i.e. to get more juice, you need more battery, so I'm not sure how they are getting 3200 mAh out of the same sized battery as stock.

Maybe no NFC? Anyway, let us know how it fits & how your battery life is- might be a good find!

Well I think all you have to do is look at AA rechargeable batteries. They've remained the same physical size but the charging capacity has increased quite considerably over the years.
