I was very excited to find that with the new update I have scroll capture capability. I wanted to send a facebook comment thread to a friend with the middle section removed. I figured the lasso tool would allow me to do this. However, when I draw the box around the part I want to remove, it just removes the part I want to keep and saves the part I want to get rid of. I tried using the lasso and pressing both add and remove. I figured it would be as easy as, select what you want to crop out, hit remove, save. That is not the case. Am I using the tool wrong, or is it broken? Add and Remove seem to serve the same exact function.
