I know... And people wonder why there are so many complaints about XDA... Well that and there is this on dev which I'm not gonna call out that can do work for the MT4GS, but won't unless he gets monetary compensation! ...

I look at it his way(not sure your take on it)- my experience has come from trial and error and a lot of self education. Unless you are actually deving a ROM/Kernel to distribute ok go ahead and ask for $ if one chooses to donate. Helping people that are unsure or new to all this IS good KARMA!

Yea I think it's ok to ask for donations and I'm sure people would be more than willing to donate, but saying you won't dev unless you are guaranteed money is wrong... I have no experience deving (but I am making a theme ), but even so I wouldn't demand money. It's just something you do because you like to do it not because you get paid to do it...
