i will give you that. Same Realm of music, so there is bound to be some similarities. But they are both a refreshing, and unique sound in today's mass produced hogwash.

Although I go just about everywhere music-wise, my main love is pre eighties R & B. Real R & B...

i can listen to just about anything, with the exception of rap and country.
As for my main love, it is Hendrix, Floyd and RUSH. No radio GAGA either. Also a huge fan of instrumental rock.

I don't like modern commercial country, but some of the older country is well worth listening to. It's actually closely related to blues. I don't listen to the radio (if I can help it) and rarely ever watch TV (don't own one other than the built in tuner in the laptop, and that I've never used). My CD and bootleg collection keeps me more than happy. At last count i had over two thousand comercially released CDs. I won't download commercial releases except to see if I want to buy them.
