Help Latest Android Development

Hi Guys,

I'm new to android and I have been asked to write a article based on any android feature. I have been a windows phone user and have no idea about android.

Can you please provide me some interesting topics (at least 10) based on any recent or interesting feature in Andorid OS? It can also be related to Android mobile. (Need something little technical not just too basics)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes these are close. I don't want the topic to be focused on a single app or area or which is too common. I need something which android has found and does not exists in other platforms and has a good future.

How about it's built on an open source operating system, and development tools, which allows developers to create apps at minimal cost, using the world's most popular programming language.

P.S. and by 'cost', I include the hardware platform required to run the development tools.

Thanks for the reply. But I need some topic that makes Android stand out and was launched recently or any good functionality (nothing too common and little bit technical)

How about Android's 'Adoptable storage' feature? One advantage for a lot of Android phones is support for microSD cards. Adoptable storage is an extension of that feature that allows a card to be not just 'secondary' storage media but a seamless addition to a phone's storage capacity.

Another plus that a number of Android phones have are user replaceable batteries. Older, pre-owned phones that get a second life in the resell market often have a limitation in that their batteries are often on the back end of their useful life. Replacing the battery in a dated phone can at least restore its ability to be more mobile again, the alternative being tied to always having a power adapter nearby or carrying around an external battery.
