Help Latest firmware?

the official uk one on kies is still ke7. I dont see the point in upgrading to these unofficial ones through odin when no one suggesting they are providing massive improvements to battery life.
 
yes, KF2 apparently has improved battery life.. and besides, u can flash the official KF2 firmware using odin. just coz its not available via kies does not make it unofficial.. just make sure u flash the correct package :)
 
i'm pretty positive that improved battery life still comes from kernels. i'm still on the previous Poland firm KE4 but the newer Poland KF2 kernel :)
the SMS themes were removed from KF2 for some reason so that's why i've stuck with the older firm for where my phone originated.
