hey guys, I've got gingerbread 2.3.3 on my phone via uk orange, I've just been reading online and apparently it was announced in Sept this year that we would get 2.3.5, is that going forward? Or is it just Orange dragging their heels again? IS there much improvement? I don't suppose theres a fix for the stupid keyboard? When I turn the phone on its side and start typing a msg, if I hit backspace the phone gets confused and drops me out of the new msg I'm composing and starts thinking that I want to delete some messages from the conversation. thanks

It's rumoured HTC will be pushing Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.5, but it's not confirmed. There are some custom ROMs based on official Sense 3.0. leaked RUU.

The Desire S is in the process of getting Sense 3.0, so hopefully it's the start of a rollout to other phones.

I know of the keyboard problem you have and it annoyed the hell out of me. SwiftkeyX is a great keyboard that you can get from the market and hasn't shown a single bug that I can tell.

hey guys, My orange HTC Desire HD finally upgraded to 2.3.5 Android and HTC Sense 3.0 (which is epic!!) so Orange finally rolled it out.

And it looks like the upgrade solved the keyboard issue, it still seems to kick me out occassionally if I use it in Landscape (on its side) but it doesn't kick me all the way back to the start of the conversation anymore, if it does kick me out it just sends me to the previous screen and my draft is still there so happy days!!
