Latest Software Update Problem - Samsung Galaxy S2

I am totally not tech-savvy but did a software/firmware update to my Galaxy S2 on Friday. I now cannot upload photos to facebook or send photos via text. The only option it now gives me is to share photos via Allshare or Picassa or to send a photo via Wifi Direct. Thanks in advance.

I have heard that doing a factory reset usually fixes these odd bugs after a software update.
