Root latest update block tether/torrents???

I havent tried to to tether w/ the stock tether app or download torrents with utorrent (both of which worked 100% on my phone) since before the update. Now I tried last night since my friends internet was out and I can tether but can only load facebook and crap, although active torrents already on the list begin seeding right away. I tried wifi tether and barnacle, neither worked. I also tried downloading the torrents right on my phone using utorrent and it no longer works. The only option now to setup a user agent?

In my area, the user agent has been necessary since February. Sometime during that month, the tether wouldn't allow traffic without the user agent string. Been using it ever since.
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

You can also just use the motions user agent

Well, I am not comfortable putting it on the forum, but pm me and I'll tell you what I am using.

...i do not see the reason for the uncomfortability...are you aware that the user agent does not contain anything unique to your computer?....unless you have a personally customized version of windows/linux/OSX...and by personally customized i mean, like....thoroughly and completely a different OS than either of those 3...

my user agent string has profanity in it

using adownloader with the pirate bay browser app. No problems whatsoever while downloading a torrent, same with the tether app.
