FYI, I thought my new LG Spirit was having issues.
I just upgraded to an LG Spirit (Great Phone!) from an LG Motion (Good Phone!) I had the free version of Slacker on my LG Motion, v.4.0.1016 and I installed the free version of Slacker on my new LG Spirit, v.4.0.1019
When attempting to Upgrade to the paid version of Slacker on my new phone using WiFi, the app would time out. Yet it would not do this on my older phone, the LG Motion. After troubleshooting my phone, it wasn't the phone. I was the Slacker app!
I noticed that on the lower right corner of the Slasher splash screen that there is a version number. So I removed Slacker from my old phone, the LG Motion, and installed the latest version on it and sure enough, the same issue that was present on my new phone was now present on my old phone.
This does not happen when connected via Data, but does happen if connected via WiFi, so it would appear that many of these issues with Slacker are related to the newer versions of Slacker when connected via WiFi as v.4.0.1016 didn't have them, but they are present on v.4.0.1019
I was going to sub to the paid version of Slacker, but if they don't bother Beta testing their apps before releasing them, I'm not going to pay them to be a Beta Tester.
I highly recommend XIAALive Pro!
I'm also using the free version of Pandora and a few other free music apps.
