Help Launcher and HTC Sense

Is there a launcher that will work in tandom with the htc sense completely...

I want to keep all the DHD Sense ability, just dont like the shitty bottom bar..

If possible, a launcher and the bottom where I can put any app or shortcut and have it scrolling so to have say about 10 app on it...

Just love the sense stuff... had spb 3d shell, very nice looking, but lacking in sense compatibility at the moment...

I was exactly the same. I loved the sense clock/weather widget, the contact widget, the connectivity widget and many of the other sense tweaks, but the bar at the bottom looked tacky.

I ended up going for Go Launcher cos it was free, it has a similar contact widget and I ended up paying for extended controls to give me the connectivity bar thing. There's a Go Weather widget that's also pretty smooth.

I did like the look of Sense, but with a bit of tweaking, there's ways and means of getting equal/better alternatives.

Because of the way HTC Sense is written, no other launcher will be able to use the widgets that come with Sense. But like El Presidente says, you can find clones/alternatives in the market.

Launcher Pro has a scrolling bar of 5 icons at the bottom, where you can swipe left/right to access two more rows of 5. And on top of that, you can set a different app/shortcut to launch when swiping over an icon rather than tapping it. So that's 30 options in total :)

I have gone the same way and used Go Launcher, the extended controls you mention, does that include turning on/off the mobile network? If so, please can I have the name of the widget

cheers

Yeah, extended controls can toggle mobile internet. I like the fact you can use it to temporarily edit your apn too, which achieves just the same thing, but it means it works with juice defender properly.
