launcher pro + Froyo

so i really like launcher pro plus and i also really want to get some of the benefits of froyo. will these 2 work well together or is the guy from launcher pro going to have to update a ton of stuff before there is a working copy out? is it better to wait until that copy is out to upgrade? or am i just completly off? im kind of a noob

I'm using launcherpro with Froyo and it works fine. I don't have plus so I can't test the widgets.

Yep, Launcher Pro and the widgets works fine with 2.2. I'm using it with Cyanogen rom.
