Launcher Pro help with scrolling

I've searched for help with this, but about a zillion posts come up having to do with Launcher Pro.

I'm totally new to the droid, so please excuse my ignorance as I try to figure out this phone - coming from an old BB Curve!

I installed LauncherPro and it defaulted to 3 screens. I changed it to 7 and now it doesn't scroll at all. It barely moves a little to the right or the left, sort of like half a screen. Is this how it's supposed to work??

I posted this also in response to something in the Droid X hints and tips, but I think this is a more appropriate place for it.

Do you have icons on all 7 screens? When I just set it up for my sister on her new Droid I noticed that unless there are icons on the screens it didn't want to scroll. When you tap 'home' do you get previews of all 7 screens?

Yes, I see the 6 empty screens and one screen with some icons. So, I guess I just put some stuff on the other screens and they will work?

yeah, i had the same problem.

realized it wouldnt scroll because it had nothing to scroll to!

put one icon on every screen to test it out and i was golden.

i be lovin my LP now!
