hi guys,
I have this app downloaded, but i can't use it. If i click my home button, i end up home, no option to use lp?
stuck..... :-(

I'm being blinded by science a little here. First Droid phone, and first play with customising. Been an iPhone user since day one. Finding things a little confusing right now I'm afraid. lol

I'm having many other problems too - i think its just because i'm not used to the ui more than anything. I mentioned them here http://androidforums.com/htc-desire/244643-new-user-help.html
The compass issue appears to have righted its self, but the other issues remain. Apps on my home screens not updating is driving me mad - everything is set to update every 15 minutes - but looking at the phone now, i still have a moon for the weather as i havent forced it to update yet. Same with twitter too (last nights tweets there still).

I've recently downloaded LauncherPro, and I've even bought Launcher Pro Plus. I love this app. However, I've encountered quite an annoying little problem...

I've been looking through a thread at the LauncherPro forum where people have posted their home screens, just to find some inspiration. I've found some very good looking, simple text icons. However, when I download them and add them to my phone, they don't look even nearly as good as they do on other peoples phones. The text is just tiny and hardly readable, and thus the icons don't look too good.

I think I came up with the answer myself while I was writing this, but I'm going to ask anyway, just to be sure: could it be so simple as it being an issue with screen size? A lot of the home screens I've seen were made on a Desire HD, Galaxy S, Nexus One or such phones, whereas I have a Hero (which, as you probably now, has a smaller screen than the aforementioned phones).

Also, I've noticed that the dock icons are smaller than the other home screen icons. A user at another forum (where I could not get a satisfactory answer to my question) suggested that the poeple who've posted their home screens may have hid their docks, and thus allowed them to use regular home screen icons instead of the dock icons, thereby making them the same size.
