Launcher Pro PLUS!

LPP is very confusing to me.
My most urgent questions:
1. How do I get the number of unread e-mails to show up on my home screen icon like it did in sense.
2. Why, when I receive an SMS do I get two notifications, almost at the same time? I'm just using the stock SMS.

do you think the launcher pro will add an update for the dock for an unread count pertaining to Google Voice. I cant find any app that does this which is what I would love to have.
 
My fault! I hardly ever use paypal. It was a setting problem on my side. I've purchased again via cc and sent the developer an email. Hopefully I can get the first (via echeck) refunded.
 
After hearing so much good stuff about Launcher Pro about how smooth and fast it was, I gave it a shot. Is there something I'm missing? It just is so laggy and not very good IMHO. Is their some option I'm missing that really makes this stand out?

Lag while doing what? I never really experience any lag unless i am running certain live wallpapers. If you mean scrolling screen to screen, I think it defaults on a very slow setting. So in options you and make it scroll super fast and responsive.

+1 LP is the fastest most responsive home replacement I have ever used. Sucks too because I kind of like ADW more for the widget size customizations but nothing is as snappy as LP for me.
 
Has anyone been able to choose "shortcut" then "activities" and it works? All i get is a black screen with the activities header.

Just use the Launcher Pro icon for Mail. I think the default LP icons support unread counters for the dock icons, but other unread counters (such as the Gmail widget) will not display counts if placed in the dock.

Try this and get back to us.
 
After a couple weeks of using LPP I decided to switch back to Sense. LPP is awesome and I've never had any problems with it but there is just something about Sense that I really like, plus Sense has a widget for 3G. I probably go back and forth between the two.

I found that sometimes I had lag with LPP - until I realised I'd left some widgets on the default 'Home'. Removed those and all was good, MUCH FASTER than default :)

The new LPP calendar widget (premium version only) IS scrollable and looks as slick as the HTC calendar/agenda widget.

The LPP widget also has an agenda view in addition to the calendar view.
 
I posted this on the LauncherPro forums but haven't received a response, so I thought I'd try here too and see if anyone else has had this issue.

I use the stock HTC messaging app, as well as the stock mail app. I have both of these on my LauncherPro+ dock. I turned on the "Unread SMS Count" dock notification, and it shows up with the correct number on my SMS icon. However, the unread SMS count also shows up on my e-mail icon in the dock. Has anyone else experienced this or now how I might fix it?

I know that LauncherPro doesn't currently support unread notifications for e-mail, but I'd really still like to use the SMS notifications -- I just don't want them showing up on my e-mail icon too.
 
I didn't have any FC with LP on my X, so I was a bit surprised when I did on the Incredible. Nothing major, though, and definitely worth keeping the bottom scrolling dock! My favorite feature!
 
SMS unread count notification not showing above icon. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

I don't have it with mail, or phone icons and i have them all checked in settings.

Can you save multiple profiles in LP+ like you can with HTC Sense? (I.e. Home, Work...etc). Or is there just 1 profile?

I can't find a save option in the settings (or similar) but I may have missed it!

i do not believe scenes are available.
 
I have some trouble imagining what LP offers that Sense on my Dinc doesn't. I guess I could DL it and find out, but nothing in the description or reviews suggests that it offers anything i don't already have.

What is there?

The dock is my favorite part. Instead of phone, add widget, and app drawer only, I have 15 things with scroll.

Also scrolling widgets is nice.
