Launcher Pro?

It is a home launcher replacement. I actually find it to run much smoother than my native Android launcher. It offers much more customization and has some nice widget options as well. A couple of the features it has that I like are the ability to offer multiple dock options and to control the numbers of rows and columns on your home screen. They have a free and paid version so I'd recommend playing around with the free version and see if it's for you.

I got it just because I wanted my home screen to turn landscape.

Turns out it gives me easy access to 30 apps without having to have icons all over my screens.

you're asking the wrong question...

should be something along the lines of 'search function, how do i use it?'

:P

jk, launcherpro is a launcher. A launcher is the app that launches other apps and 'contains' your homescreens. Sense, for instance, is essentially a launcher.

You shouldn't get it, because I personally don't want to see the forum (even more) flooded with the resulting vague question threads that you would create as a result.

My opinion would be different, off course, if you opted to use the search function (if not the one built into this forum, you can use the one built into the internet by clicking on this LINK). In that case, I would wholeheartedly recommend launcherpro, and i would suggest trying the other ones available as well.

:) good luck

Smartass answers are easily avoided by taking the initiative to answer your own questions. There's TONS of info on Launcher Pro available if you bother to look.

Ask a lazy question, expect smartass replies. All forum sites are flooded with junk threads from those who can't be bothered to search around.

Any "Why should I...?" question is up to you to answer -- not everyone else. You need to determine if an option is worthwhile or not. No one else can answer that for you.

Thanks for the smartass answer, it's much appreciated.
To be fair GSX, it is very frustrating for members who have already taken the time and trouble to answer the self same question, sometimes (as in this case) time and again, to be asked to repeat themselves.

Besides which, I usually find that the "Search this Forum" button usually gives you the best answers as the top/most knowledgeable posters on here are not inclined to repeat themselves.

I blame the designers of this site for not making the "Search this Forum" button a big red one that stands out and flashes! :D
