Launcher recommendations?

I am trying ADW EX and a few things I have noticed.

3. Dropping things onto the dick is horribly bad and it is difficult to see if the icon is actually being dropped onto the dock or put into the bin.

Must be a mis-type.

I would try the free versions of the major ones (LauncherPro, ADW Launcher, etc..). When you find the one you like, keep it. If you REALLY like it, go ahead and get the pay version as it helps to support the developers who spend countless hours making these wonderful apps and utilities.

Must be a mis-type.

Surely is

I'm pretty surprised I haven't seen anyone mention GO Launcher. It's very similar to LP but offers a very more asthetic app drawer.

As far as what is better imo. I can't really say yet. I originally loved LPP but have been trying GO and I like it nearly as much. Both have a scrollable dock which is a MUST imo.

I hate to say it but "Try them all".

you just beat me to it - what about Go launcher

ive tried LP,ADW,Zeem etc but keep coming back to GL - it works for me - smooth, simple and easy to use - havent seen any impact on phone so far

cheers

I know a few of these offer backup options, and I've only tried LPP for any length of time. Do any of the others let you keep your widget choices? LPP says that due to restrictions in android it can't, so I'm assuming none of the others are able to either?
