Then yeah, linking the URL should be the way.

I don't really use Dropbox (ok, haven't touched it for years), but I vaguely remember there being public a d private files/links. That would be my first thought.

Otherwise download the image then use the "upload file" option. That will certainly work.

I don't understand your issue with trying to change individual icons in Nova?

I have been able to change almost everything with Nova.
I haven't found a Launcher that can do more in terms of editing and customisation.

In my screenshot, I have numerous different app icons from different icon sets, and have edited the dock so no menu button appears, the notification panel and navigation bar are hidden.
I operate this using gestures 👍👌☝️👍👇✊🤲
