thanx. this method works. simple and easy.
now to use SENSE again, similar process rite. goin to LP and clearing defaults??

Yeah, although, I think if you clear defaults on either launcher, when you press home, you are prompted?

So do I just select clean slate, do this & then that's it?
 
I've got the paid version of launcher pro on my desire at the moment but one of the problems I am finding is that the alternative ways to enable the mobile internet connection (i.e. long press of the power button and select mobile internet) does not work - nothing happens. Since there doesn't seem to be any mobile internet toggles that I can get to work with launcher pro does anyone have suggestions?
 
so to help save the battery if your using LP you just Delete all the apps/widgets from all the original screens? After you have done this is there still any diffrence running LP? as the bettery is not great as it is!

Question: Is it possible to save "scenes" in Launcherpro like you can with sense? Maybe in the pro version? Just thinking I'd like to have more than one style in LP to change between like I can using scenes in my current sense setup.
 
you can backup the LP settings, I think that saves the layout etc but you would need to reaply any widgets you had open.
 
Yesterday i paid for the lp-plus version. But was a bit disappointed. Just few lp widgets available and the widget resizing option available- as far i have seen. What are the other options in lp plus compared to lp-lite version. Thanks.

Everyone was saying that and it says on LP website that these are the only features you get in LPP so I have no idea what you are complaining about.

For me, even if it had not features extra I would LPP to say thanks to the guy who is putting so much work in this and it made my phone 3x faster and more responsive.

I feel exactly the same way! I've had my phone for 2 months...installed & uninstalled a zillion apps but have only paid for 2...LauncherPro and Camera360. For me personally being able to resize widgets after placing them on the screen made it more than worth it.

I think I'm dense or just not 'getting it' but I need screenshots to show me the options of changing the grid layout on the homescreens.

I agree. LP lite is a wonderful app as it is. I havent gone back to Sense after trying it out. but my point is that when you are paying for the plus version, I expected functionalities bit more than whats there now in LP-plus. actually, its my fault I dint read about LP-plus, from the LP site. I just assumed it would be mighty awesome.
one more thing, how do I get to know whether there are updates for LP-plus. the 'Market' which shows just LP?? or the LP site?

Does anyone know of a way to get bigger dock icons? I've looked through the settings but can't see nothing. It's the only thing missing at the moment ;)

You will still get the updates through the market. The updates he pushes effect those with the LP and LPP versions differently but its all through the market.

I have been wanting this... There is nothing in settings I am pretty sure it has to do with how Fede wrote the code for the bar.
