Launchers and how to use them

If I download a diff launcher, do I need to clear all the widgets off the prior launcher so they dont continue to run? Or will they stop running? Is there a easy way to switch between launchers? Thx all!

1) Yes. Clear all widgets off screens on the launcher not being used.

2) use "Home switcher". This will allow you to switch back and forth to the other launchers.

Download "home switcher" from the market and you can simply switch back and forth between launchers. I use the paid version of launcher pro, and I did clear all the widgets from the motoblur launcher to ensure nothing stayed running on that side.
