Help LBE privacy guard

On my android 2.3.4 phone, I have an interesting app called LBE privacy guard. It allows me to selectively block some permissions in apps while allowing others. It also alerts me when apps attempts to use certain permissions which is educational in itself.
When I installed it in my rooted nexus 7, it made the nexus crash repeatedly until I uninstalled it.
Is there something similar that is compatible with the nexus 7?

Found an updated version that works on android 4.2.2.

The versions on play store and amazon are old ones and not compatible.
