I don't know if this is easily found somewhere or if everyone has already done it but figured I would re post just because I originally did a search to find it. There's a nifty app called LCD resolution that you can get in the market and as long as your MT is rooted, you can changed the resolution to be bigger or smaller.
Stock is 240 and I am on 200 and personally find it to be great. 220 wasn't too bad either but slightly big. The phone looks great compared to the stock 240 but everyone has a preference and some may like the stock.
Just as a disclaimer, some apps will not work or install if you change the resolution but I have only encountered one app so far which was go weather that wouldn't and someone mentioned facebook but I don't use facebook so I can't confirm.
As always you take the risk to modify the phone but I've swapped back and forth a few times without any issues.
