My le pan tablet will not respond.I would touch the screen and nothing will happen i have a pattern lock and when I try to do the pattern it will not do anything so I'm pretty much locked out of my tablet

Depending on the model.
If you don't see the solution in one of the threads then you will need to register so you can ask how to get into your recovery so you can do a factory reset. This should fix the problem. It will also wipe out everything you put on it. Sorry!
They might know of an alternative to doing a factory reset which wouldn't delete all user data. Not positive it that can be accomplished though.
