Root Leaked 2.2 Incredible Update ROM?

I installed without the OTA leak... Seems to all work, except for the camcorder.

Downloading the RUU files and OTA leak now... Might tackle it, and then restore to my backup of 2.2 already setup to have it all working...

already did the update weeks ago, just put this on and wow all works great
lots new widgets, camera camcorder work great-like the new flashlight right in camcorder app too, so many new features and runs smooth and quick!
plus still have root! YES!!!!
very cool

linpack = 35-39
quadrant = 1156

not bad at all. plus the camera and camcorder is working, along with 720p and wireless n

Just to clarify, this can be undone with a nandroid backup right?

Since you have to wipe the device to install 2.2, can you use Titanium to backup all your files/settings before wiping, and then simply restore once 2.2 is installed? If so, is there anything you shouldn't restore from a Titanium backup (e.g. system files) once you install 2.2?

Is the UI smoother when using Live wallpapers in 2.2? I am curious if those better numbers correlate to better performance....

Much more. I wasn't using them before because of the noticed drag, but I'm using the Nexus One live wallpaper and it's still faster than 2.1 with a static background.

Guys the only thing is. this Is still the .29 kernel how can this be official if its not the .32 kernel the nexus one has.

Mine has the .29 kernel as well and my internal storage and camera aren't working. I followed the instructions perfectly. Apparently several people are having this same problem. Is there a workaround? I've done this android.tether stuff and it didn't work.

Figured it out...I turned off my phone, booted into Hboot, booted into recovery, installed the 2.2 image and now I'm on the .32 kernel. Best of all, NOTHING was deleted or changed or anything. I deleted wireless tether and the android.tether folder before I did this so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

It is a test rom that has been modded to work as the update, but it is NOT the actual VZW update for 2.2.

No radio and needs root to install (just to name two things) should make it obvious.

None the less, the rooters will be happy- just not the actual update that will be published as the OTA.

There were two leaks. One of them required the first leaked update that a few people got. I believe it updated the Kernel. Without it when you update to Froyo you update the OS without the Kernel. There was another one that had everything. One update is going to the lucky few that got the other update the other one is going to be pushed to everyone else. Unless they change something between now and release. I have to say I am loving it. It didn't break root when I installed either. However, most everything I wanted root for came with the update. You know except for wifi tether which I won't use much but much easier to set up than pdanet. And since I bounce around from computer to computer these days it's nice to not have to install and configure a program on the computer to accept my tether.

Not quite right...
The first leak updates the baseband (radio). The Froyo leak updates the kernel from .29 to .32.
