Learning the new HTC EVO

I am learning the differences between the motorola Droid and the HTC EVO. One thing I am lost is how to setup multi selection in the email folder to delete unwanted emails. In the motorola version I can simply touch the selection box next to each email entry and then select the delete button but on the EVO I do not see the same function. Does anyone know how to set this option up? also in the motorola version I can assign independent notification sound per email folder but I do not see that option in the EVO as well

Never mind about the multi selection part I figured it out. In the option if you select the delete choice it allows you to select multiple email entries and then you can delete them out, but I still don't know how to set a independant nofication per email folder
