[dansdad]

Can anyone tell me what phone from verizon has the least amount of crapware or how to get rid of it. I dont want anything running in the background. I can go outside to tell the weather. Thank You Dave

If you root your phone (gives you admin access) then you can remove any ap you wish, including all of the pre installed apps that Verizon puts on the phone. Important, make sure you read a LOT and carefully understand what you're doing when you root your phone because if you do it incorrectly you can brick your phone, and rooting does void factory warranty fwiw.

You can go outside to tell if it's sunny but not the temperature or dew point. I see this is your first Android device - believe me, you'll see that all of these apps are very powerful and can really help you.

Besides, Verizon's crapware isn't weather, it's sponsored stuff like Madden, Amazon, and their Blur.
